*Jumps up and down in chair dramatically*
In 86 minutes I will be taking part of something magical. I will be in a meeting with one of the best writers I have ever read. No big deal...*tries not to pass out*
So, I love my school. And I'm pretty darn sure my mentors are magical beings, because even though they live in Utah, I can almost hear them standing next to me on late-night study guide writing days saying, "You got this. Keep going. Finish. You're an amazing student."
80 minutes left...
Also, my family from my dad's side just left my house. I love them so much. I'll see them tomorrow, though when I go up to the Capital (herherher...Capital. Sounds like I'm a hunger games tribute.), so I'm super stoked for that.
OHHH! I wanted to blog about this yesterday but I didn't, because I was all worked up about my "Levels, Labels, Limits" problem and needed to vent that. But basically, you can call me "Julia the Wild Woman" from now on. Why? I caught a bird yesterday.
Yeah, there was this bird on my porch that the cat left for me to play with. Naturally I satisfyed my yearning to pick it up. I took it in the house under the light to make sure it wasn't ingured or anything (seriously...what kind of bird just takes a nap on your porch?). I put it on my examination table (*cough*, the family computer desk) and carefully observed it's legs, which were curled up all funny and I was convinced they were broken.
And that's when it decides to fly. In my home.
When it lands I can tell it's all mad at me. It just sat there, perched on the trash can, looking at me like an idiot, and he may have had good judgement. What kind of smart person brings a wild bird into her house at 10:00 at night, anyway? And the story doesn't have that epic of an ending. I picked it up and released it outside.
Looking back, I have no idea why I wanted to put this story on my blog. But whatever, I'll roll with it.
Have a good day!
63 minutes...
