So.
Below is a list of some pretty random questions sent to me by a pretty legit person...and I answered them. So enjoy.
Your childhood...
In a nutshell, my childhood was unique. I lived oblivious to the world. The blimeycow term, "My siblings are my bestest friends. They are all I need." truly applied to me. Girls my age generally annoyed me with the acception of a couple, and when I was mad I would go outside and talk to trees. I still remember their names, the tree's.... Animals were my obsession (still kinda are...). I hated reading with a passion (I know, I know... unbelievable), unless I was reading my animal encyclopedia. I really loved journals and did a lot of my writing-experimentation in my earlier years. OH! And when I was 10 I had a room made of food storage. Yeup, it was amazing. As you can tell, I was very resourceful.
Favorite city...
Washington DC.
Color...
Green. Not puke green, not emerald, not lime, not mint. Just green. (If I had a dollar for every time I've been asked "what shade?"...)
Favorite star...
Story time.
So when I was little my grandma told me about her "wishing star".
She told me all about how it's the brightest star in the sky and that my dreams will come true when I wish upon said star.
(I didn't learn 'till later in my life that it's actually Venus.)
And my grandma told me we could share her wishing star if I desired to do so...and who wouldn't?
So...Venus is my favorite "star", just because I've been wishing on it with my grandma since I was little.
Your favorite sock...
It's knee-high, horizontally stripped, blue and green. I would totally put a picture of it up here, but my sister was a dork and wore it while I was gone at church all day today...and I don't know where she put it...and I should figure that out, since it's my lucky sock and everything...
Childhood tricycle...
Um...I had a bicycle that I loved so much I was determined to take it with me to college someday. *snorts*. I was devestated when Mom and Dad took it to the dump.
Favorite song...
All of Me by Jon Schmidt or Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing.
#1 thing on your bucket list...
Be a wife and mother.
The places you'll go...
I'll go lots of places. Like Paris and Congo and on a mission and to college....and many, MANY other places. ;)
whether you're going to dye your lawn purple or not?
Actually...I've heard if you put a ton of Fruit Loops on your lawn at night, in the morning, due to to the dew (due to the dew...bahaha), your grass will be all colorful because of the disolved, mushy cereal. I've always wanted to do that.
How you became so awesome...
Well...I don't know if I deserve the title of "awesome", but I guess I've just worked hard to stay true to myself, which I am pretty darn proud of, considering the zombie-teenagers of society I see around me all the time, which I am not.
#1 epiphany you had...
"There's more to life than growing up and developing just like everyone else."
